Yikes. Not only that, 18 were shot, and 5 were killed. Giffords is going to recover, but many are wounded and in critical condition. Scary that this happened 15 miles south of me.

She said more information will be released at a news conference in which one of the doctors who operated on Giffords plans to speak."

A nine year old girl lost her life because of this whackjob. If I were there, I'd of gladly given up my own life to ensure that little girl, who was just there like many others, to see their government at work, went home with her parents, alive.

I agree. Is this what the country has come to? America is a sad place. There are so many awful people that should have died instead of her. I'm not much older and I still would have taken that bullet for her.
