If they can create this beautiful Engine that means they are actually capable of making a BEAUTIFUL new console.
I know they're not in the Console business anymore, but the fact they are able to make an Engine like the Hedgehog Engine, that just proves they still got it! They still got it, they still have the skills when it comes to creative thinking and being ahead of their time like they used to when they made the Dreamcast and when they made the Genesis!
I think I speak for most of us that the Dreamcast was awesome, it was just badly commercialised.
Now these days Sega's trailers and commercials tend to be awesome.
If Sega follows up with a Sonic Unleashed-style Sonic game and make it succesful, they would be able to get enough money to start on a new console.
Yes it's wishful thinking, but really think about it!
Look at the graphics Sega was able to squeeze out of the Xbox 360 version of Sonic Unleashed! If that would be an individual Console, the thing would have the BEST GRAPHICS EVER! I mean like CGI graphics!
That way Sega will also make better games. Why do you ask? Did you notice how Sonic Unleashed is much better on the X360 version? That's because it runs on an engine Sega made. It's clear Sega makes games much better if it's on their own ground. Ergo their games are awesome as long as it's on their own Engine or Console.
Making their own console again would make Sega able to make other games again too, like Shinobi.

Yeah! WTF happened to being creative? I give Sega credit for being the most creative in that area. The names on pretty much all others is like.... "Well, obviously!
